How do I mix the Skunk Odor Eliminator with water?

Mix 3-parts water with 1-part Skunk Odor Eliminator. The water should be warm, but not hot so that it's comfortable for your pet. We suggest you put 3 cups of warm water into a 1-quart container, then add 1 cup of Skunk Odor Remover and lightly stir.

How do I apply it to my pet?

Soak a sponge in the Skunk Odor Eliminator solution, lightly wring out, then sponge onto your pet. Your pet may shake off some of the solution, but what remains will start working to remove the odor. In most cases, you'll need to apply the product twice. Because skunk spray is an oil, you'll have to allow the bacteria to break down the oil so it is permanently removed. After the first application, wait 20- 25 minutes and reapply. After another 20-25 minutes, see if you can detect an odor. If so, repeat treatment. If you don’t smell any odor, just allow your pet to dry naturally. There is no need to rinse.

Once your pet is clean, use the same 3-1 mixture to saturate anywhere skunk odor is present. Then, let it dry naturally. You can use Skunk Odor Eliminator on any surface that water won’t damage including, furniture, bedding, clothes, floors, etc.

Pour the 3-1 mixture in a container large enough to hold the liquid and the collar, then soak the collar for 30 minutes. After soaking, hang the collar to dry. If odor is still present, repeat.
